The Great Undertaking

So, as many of you may or may not have heard, I have given up on the National Hockey League, or as I have retitled it, the No Hockey League. In my opinion, both the owners and players have lost sight of the fact that this is a game. Everything to do with it has become money driven, I've felt this way for a while now. So when it was announced that there was a lockout that was my final straw.
I am done with the NHL.
There I said it, and I said it on air too. Neither Daryl nor Donna think I will be able to make it through the season before tuning in to watch if it comes back. I know I can. So, Daryl and several others have decided to set me a few ground rules for this self imposed "NHL Exile". I can in no way support the league, meaning the use or wear of licensed product is strictly forbidden. I can no longer play the video game, no problem, my copy has a scratch and I haven't been able to use it for months anyway. And I cannot watch any of it, that too is ok, NFL and Soccer is just starting, NASCAR has well over a month left, the Baseball playoffs are around the bend and basketball will be starting soon and as my daughter pointed out, Wrestling is ALWAYS on. Lots of choices to occupy me.
And with that, it's Bye Bye NHL, I doubt you'll be missed.
