The Owen Sound Parkinson's walk is set to go today.
The 9th annual event begins at 2 this afternoon at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
The walk provides funds for Parkinson's support services, education, advocacy and research.
The Parkinson's Society of southwestern Ontario says about 10,000 people live with Parkinson's disease in the region.
Across Canada, more than 100,000 people live with it.
