The 3rd annual WALK-IT For Parkinson's event took place in Port Elgin at North Shore Park Sunday and over 50 people came to show their support and walk it for themselves, or for a loved one.
In total, $18,008.25 was raised, and 100% of the proceeds were donated to the Parkinson Society of Southwestern Ontario.
Bob Cotie was the top individual fundraiser, collecting $3,312 for the cause.
The top fundraising team was Pat's Pack. They raised $1,700.
