Chatsworth Man Charged With Racing, Drug and Alcohol Possession

Police say when they stopped the driver for racing they could smell alcohol & pot on him.

A 22 year old Chatsworth man is facing charges after Wellington county OPP say they clocked him doing over 130km an hour.

Police say it happened at about 4 Saturday afternoon near Teviotdale.

Police say when they stopped the driver they could smell alcohol and pot on him.

According to OPP, the officer could see marihuana flakes in the console and an open container of alcohol.

They arrested the driver and say they found a large amount of pot in the car.   

The Chatsworth man faces a number of charges including racing, marijuana possession and driving with open liquor.
 
His driver's licence and vehicle were seized for seven days.
