A 31-year-old Kitchener man charged with attempted murder after a shooting near Dornoch this summer is due to make another court appearance this week.
Christopher Nevius was remanded in custody after a video appearance in Walkerton court last week, and had his case put over to this Friday.
Nevius was arrested back on July 26, after West Grey Police attended a home east of Dornoch -- in southern Grey County -- where a man had been shot.
The victim suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
Police identified Nevius as the suspect in the shooting and tracked him to Kitchener, where he was arrested by the Waterloo Regional Police Emergency Response Team.
Officers seized three loaded handguns, ammunition, a large amount of cash and suspected methamphetamine pills.
Nevius faces one count of attempted murder and one count of discharging a firearm with intent.
