Students at Georgian College in Owen Sound will be doing their part to help raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis Canada today.
The 37th annual Shinerama at Georgian campuses will take place, with students shining shoes, cars and windows in return for donations.
In Owen Sound, students will be at various locations throughout the city from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., including at the Georgian College campus on 8th Street, Boston Pizza, Foodland, Zehrs and on 2nd Avenue downtown.
Cystic fibrosis is a fatal genetic disease that affects Canadian children and young adults, for which there is no cure.
It causes many debilitating effects on the body, but mainly attacks the digestive system and lungs.
