Five of North America's Best Rib Teams will be in Owen Sound this weekend.
Pitmasters from Texas, Florida, Alabama and Ontario will set up at the Bayshore Community Centre for Ribfest on September 14th, 15th and 16th.
Organizer Ricky Brooks says this year "It's bigger and better."
The festival will boast a number of food trucks, offering corn dogs, roasted corn, poutine lemonade, bloomin' onions and funnel cakes and beer.
There will be a rib eating contest, a kids zone and face painting, a bouncy castle as well as Skymazing Parasailing Adventures.
Live music goes all weekend long and includes a Bob Marley tribute Band, a Bon Jovi tribute, and tributes to Jason Aldean, Blue Rodeo, Toby Keith, Nickleback and Elton John as well as local musicians.
The Rib Teams are Billy Bones BBQ, Camp 31 BBQ, Pistol Pete's BBQ, Sticky Fingers BBQ and Texas Rangers BBQ.
Admission is $3. Children 12 and under are free. Parking is free.
Proceeds go back into the community. Last yeah they went to the hospital foundation and this year they'll go to Big Brothers Big Sisters Owen Sound.

Friday September 14th from 5p.m. to 11 p.m.
Saturday September 16th 12 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Sunday September 16th 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
