Don't Fall for the ''Apple Support'' Scam

Saugeen Shores | by Travis Jackson

A Saugeen Shores resident lost money to con artists claiming to be with the company best known for selling iPhones.

Saugeen Shores Police are investigating a case of missing money after a resident was scammed by a fake company that was pretending to be Apple Support.

Police say that the fake company kept the victim on the phone for two hours as they went to various businesses to purchase Itunes cards.

The victim found the fraudulent company on the internet, which he said had a very convincing website.

The Saugeen Shores Police are reminding people to be vigilant with online purchases and technical support.

Please verify the validity of the persons or websites you visit before paying for services.
