With the holiday season now in the rearview mirror, Saugeen Shores Police have concluded their Festive R.I.D.E Campaign.
In all, police say 1,168 vehicles were stopped during the increased enforcement period with zero arrests, and one roadside breath test conducted.
Saugeen Shores Police say there were nine Highway Traffic Act offences and one under the Cannabis Act.
Inspector Kevin Zettel says the aim of the program is enforcement, awareness and deterrence.
"The visibility of RIDE programs are in line with our core functions of crime prevention and traffic safety," Zettel says.
