OPP have released the names of the both the man who died in a boating incident in Colpoy's Bay and the man charged in relation to his death.
On Friday, June 7th, at about 10:30 p.m. Grey Bruce OPP were called after people reported hearing calls for help coming from out on the water.
Police say a 16 foot boat had sunk and four men were in the water.
Three were rescued and a 19 year old man along with a 22 year old man were transported to hospital because of cold water exposure.
After searching for roughly three and a half hours, OPP found the fourth man deceased in the water.
He has been identified as 26 year old Tyson Denning from East Garafraxa Township.
Grey Bruce OPP have charged 39 year old Christopher Solomon from Neyaashiinigmiing First Nation with impaired operation of a vessel causing death, section 320.14(3) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
Grey Bruce OPP officers, Grey Bruce OPP Crime Unit, OPP USRU and OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators continue to investigate the incident.
