Get your tux pressed and track down your taffeta dress because prom is on it's way to Saugeen Shores.
To kick-off the annual Light the Way fundraising season the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation (SMHF) is throwing it back to host "Return to Prom" on November 9th at Lakeshore Recreation.
Hospital Foundation Executive Director Tracy Murray say the focus of this years Light the Way season is on youth in the community and medical care for their future.
"We went with the Return to Prom theme because we thought it was a fun chance for people to relive their youth. This year the Light the Way slogan is 'Shine Your Light on the Future of Healthcare', which has a focus on kids in our community," says Murray.
"Return to Prom will have lots of great stuff happening, we will have a bottle-pull where every pull is a winner...and a live photobooth area with cheesy props and dazzling backgrounds, so you can take those cheesy prom photos."
The event will include food, a live and silent auction and door-prizes.
Murray says experiences are included in the auction prizes.
