The GSCA remind hunters that not all conservation authority lands allow for hunting.

Today marks the opening of a week long deer rifle season in Ontario.

All over the province hunters will be setting off into he woods with tags and rifles in hand hoping to land a that 10 point buck.

Knowing this the Grey Sauble Conservation Authority has put out a press release with some reminders.

The GSCA remind hunters that not all conservation authority lands allow for hunting.

Those unsure can check on their website or by purchasing a map at the administration office.

The conservation authority also cautions against hiking in areas where hunting is permitted.

They also suggest that all people and pets who are out in the wilderness this week wear bright orange clothing in order to stay as safe as possible.
