Fire crews battled a large straw bale fire in Clearview Township.
Crews were called to the 27/28 Sideroad in the Stayner area early this morning.
Firefighters used an excavator, fans and blowers to battle the fire.
The fire crews set up the equipment on the perimeter to encourage deep-burning and fuel reduction.
No one was hurt.
Crews still remaining on scene and continue with extinguishment efforts. The excavator has been removed and a shift of tactics has occurred.
