Asphalt paving in Owen Sound will close a number of roads on Tuesday.
The city advises parts of 8th and 9th Streets West, and 7th and 8th Avenues West will close at 7 a.m. Tuesday for the work and are expected to re-open by 6 p.m.
A detailed description of the road closures:
-8th Street West from 6th Avenue West to 7th Avenue West (west bound lane)
-7th Avenue West from 8th Street West to 9th Street West (both directions)
-9th Street West from 6th Avenue West to 8th Avenue West (both directions)
-8th Avenue West from 10th Street West to 9th Street West (local traffic only for southbound lane)
Meantime, watermain improvements are also being undertaken Tuesday as preparations for the 16th Street East Rehabilitation Project continue.
The city advises 10th Street East will be closed to through traffic from 16th to 18th Avenues East as a result. It’s expected to re-open by 7 p.m.
