One person has died in a house fire near Teeswater.
Emergency services were called to a report of a fire along Bruce County Road 6 in former Culross Township just after 9 a.m. Monday morning.
South Bruce OPP and South Bruce firefighters arrived to find a home fully engulfed in flames.
Police say a deceased individual has been located inside the home.
OPP have not provided any additional details about the incident.
The victim has not been identified by police and there is no word about the potential cause of the fire.
Provincial Police say the investigation is continuing along with the South Bruce OPP Crime Unit, OPP Forensic Identification Services, the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office and the Coroner’s Office.
Bruce County Road 6 was closed yesterday between Sideroad 25 and Wolfe Street, west of Teeswater, as firefighters battled the blaze.
