The Owen Sound Attack Player of the Week is team captain Colby Barlow
The Attack will be at North Bay tomorrow to meet the Central Division leading North Bay Battalion
You can hear the Attack & Battalion live on 560 CFOS with Kia of Owen Sound-Terry’s Trailer Service Bearadio

from attackhockey.com
For the second straight week Colby Barlow takes home Attack Player of the Week Honours, this time with a four point weekend. Though going just 1-2 over the three game weekend, the Attack captain led his team by example and dragging them into the fight each game.
It all started Friday night when Barlow’s power play one-timer gave Owen Sound a 2-0 lead, and opened the flood gates for a four goal second period. The captain would net a second goal of the night, showing his speed and determination as he fought-off former Attack teammate Cedricson Okitundu to win the puck battle, before showing high IQ with a cheeky no look five-hole shot to catch the Hamilton goalie off guard.
Though not finding the score sheet Saturday night, as the Bears were shutout, Barlow showed why he is one of the heart beat players, as he tried to will the Attack to a goal throughout the game. The 2023 top NHL Draft prospect would find the score sheet again Sunday afternoon, as he opened the scoring for Owen Sound, before displaying his vision and passing ability with a great seam pass to pick up a primary helper.
As the OHL season winds down and the playoff picture begins to take shape, the Attack captain will be integral during these last few weeks of action, as he looks to help the Bears to that 4th spot in the Western Conference and home ice in the opening round of the playoffs.
