Grey Highlands is holding a town hall forum this week on the proposed 2024 budget.
The forum, set for Feb. 15 at 6 p.m., will go over the proposed budget which includes an 8.85 per cent tax rate increase.
The increase will result in the average homeowner, whose home is assessed at $305,908, an additional $185.
The budget also comes with $6.6 million dedicated toward capital projects.
Some of these projects include $1.3 million towards a bridge construction project, $1.1 million for construction along Alice Street in Flesherton, $1 million for gravel maintenance, and other various road projects.
Residents are invited to share their thoughts at the meeting.
