Tim Hortons stores in Owen Sound are teaming up with Safe ‘N Sound and OSHaRE for this year’s Smile Cookie Campaign.
Smile Cookies will be sold from April 28th until May 4th at participating Tim Hortons locations, and 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the Smile Cookies will be staying in Owen Sound.
In a media release, Fundraising & Communications Manager for Safe ‘N Sound Wren Fitzakerley says that the organization is grateful to Tim Hortons and the community for the opportunity.
Safe ‘N Sound operates a drop-in centre and provides daily support, housing support, advocacy, and vital services to individuals experiencing homelessness in the city.
OSHaRE provides community meals, family meal assistance, school lunches, and Supportive Outreach Service (SOS) meals.
During the Smile Cookie campaign, chocolate chunk cookies with hand-piped smiles are sold for $2 each, and Smile Cookie plushies will also be available at Tim Hortons locations for $5, with $2 of each purchase donated.
