A West Grey man faces ten charges after a chase with Hanover police.
Police Chief Chris Knoll says officers working Saturday night tried to stop a motorcycle that fled at high speed, and turned off the road down the community trail at the 14th Street entrance.
Police say the suspect lost control, left the bike and continued to flee on foot.
Officers took off on foot in pursuit and caught up and arrested a 40-year-old man from West Grey after a brief struggle.
Knoll says he is charged with ten criminal offences including dangerous driving, flight from police, resisting arrest, driving while prohibited and more.
He also faces seven traffic, insurance and cannabis related charges that include unnecessary noise, driving without licence plates, driving with cannabis in open baggage, driving without insurance and others.
Knoll says he was later remanded into custody at a bail hearing.
