Hanover Police have arrested a man in connection to a fatal hit and run.
33-year-old Codie Bloom was arrested Thursday evening in connection to the June 11th collision that resulted in the death of 66 year old Sheila Lamont after she was hit by a red PT Cruiser while walking on 7th Avenue near the entrance to Hanover Park.
The Chrysler PT Cruiser fled the scene and was later found destroyed by fire in the Municipality of Brockton.
Bloom was arrested last evening without incident, after South Bruce OPP located him walking on McNabb Street in Walkerton.
Bloom was held overnight and remanded into custody at his bail hearing this morning on charges of dangerous driving causing death, failing to remain at a collision resulting in death and arson.
He is next scheduled to appear in court on June 27th in Walkerton.
