Her nominator, Jordan, writes, “I was in active addiction, stuck on the streets, struggling to get clean and hold down a job. This person was there for me from day one. When we met she gave a place for a couple of weeks, helped me get clean and now I have my own place and a job again. Thanks to her, I’m living a lavish life that I haven’t lived in 5 years. I was homeless for 5 years and stuck in active addiction now I’m sober and loving life. Thanks to this wonderful lady, I can wake up every morning and sleep every night and not need to worry about me dying.”
