You can get trees for less than half the price at the annual Saugeen Shores Tree Sale.
You can buy an apple tree for $80 when they retail for over $220. You can buy a maple tree for $155 when they retail for over $360. The trees for the tree sale are all significantly cheaper than they retail for.
The Portal to order trees will open at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8th.
The program is being hosted by SauGreen for the Environment inc. with funding for this event from Bruce Power and the Town of Saugeen Shores.
Residents are allowed a maximum of five trees per household.

The S.D.S.S.Varsity Football team will plant trees for a rate of $50.00 per tree, volunteers will deliver trees at a rate of $50.00 per tree plus $10.00 for an additional tree.
Tree pick up will run from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 2nd at 339 Concession 6 (Public Works Shop). Only open trucks and trailers are allowed.
