The U9 Matt Brown Nicol Insurance Owen Sound NorthStars protected home turf this Sunday at the Kiwanis Soccer Complex, putting together another undefeated weekend with two dominant victories.
The North Stars opened the day with a commanding 27-0 shutout over the KW Kodiaks. Balanced scoring led the way as Anita Monahan, Wrenley Shlakat and Tenley Scott each recorded 4 goals, while Kirby Heipel and Piper Von Dungern added 3 apiece.
The momentum carried straight into game two where Owen Sound rolled past Kawartha Lacrosse 20-4. Tenley Scott led the offense with 6 goals, Camille Spencer added 4, while strong team scoring and relentless pressure sealed another statement win.
