The Province’s Fall Preparedness Covid-19 Plan will include free testing at pharmacies including Rexall, Shoppers Drug Mart and other independent pharmacies
During an announcement at the Huntsville Shoppers Drug Mart this afternoon, Premier Doug Ford said testing in pharmacies will start Friday – up to 60 pharmacies will take part including the Huntsville location. You will need to make an appointment in advance.
“We are using every tool in our toolbox because we know what we are up against and we wont be caught off guard,” said Ford.
Three hospitals in Ontario will also soon provide saliva testing – they include Mount Sinai, the Women’s College Hospital and the University Health Network.
Expect more details about the Province’s Fall Preparedness Plan starting tomorrow.
Starting Friday Sept 25, up to 60 pharmacy sites will provide free testing, by appointment only, to Ontarians who do not have #COVID19 symptoms. Pharmacies will also pre-screen in advance to ensure no one is entering the store with COVID-19 symptoms.https://t.co/LtW8rbDXVN pic.twitter.com/Iv2KdlT0pS
