Grey Bruce OPP say they have laid charges in a school-related incident in Grey Highlands.
OPP say on June 13th, at approximately 12:45 p.m., they investigated a weapons incident at a local school which police did not name.
Provincial Police say a 15-year-old person from Grey Highlands, who they did not name, was charged with assault with a weapon and possession of an imitation weapon for a dangerous purpose.
OPP say the accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound at a later date.
They add, no injuries were reported as result of this incident.
Police say there are no further safety concerns and add, students are encouraged to immediately report similar incidents to school staff and police.
