October 20 Local Hero – Jasmin Guest!

Her nominator, Lauren, writes, “My sister has done so much for my family during a difficult time. My toddler, Max, was diagnosed with bladder cancer this past March. I am home with my son full time and therefore am unable to work for at least the next year until his treatment is done. My husband misses work frequently to join my son and I for his chemo treatments at McMaster children’s hospital in Hamilton. As a result of the missed work, finances have been a major stressor. My sister Jasmin has done so much to help since all of this started. She created a GoFundMe page to help us with our expenses. She does family photography and has been giving my family 100% of the proceeds from her shoots. She created an Amazon wish list so that people can support us. She is a constant shoulder to to lean on, always willing to talk and always lifting up our spirits. We are so lucky to have her.”
