Hanover Police say they arrested a 32-year-old Kitchener man at gun-point early Wednesday morning after responding to a disturbance call.
The town’s police chief Christopher Knoll says the suspect fled a residence with a shotgun, and was arrested a short time later by police officers.
A sawed-off shotgun was seized by Hanover Police.
The 32-year-old male from Kitchener was charged with assault and several firearms offences.
Knoll says in a social media post more information will be shared in a release about the incident sometime today.
