This week’s “Country 93 Local Hero” is… Bob Van Dolder!
Chris, who nominated Bob, said: “I was leaving the Meridian parking lot and heard a loud noise coming from outside my truck. I pulled over and looked under my truck and the front of the fuel tank was on the ground. A bit of panic came over me. What do I do now? A truck came along and parked beside me and a man got out and looked under my truck and after about 20 minutes, he had managed to put a ratchet strap under my tank and fastened it to the frame. I was then able to drive home where I could get it fixed. I offered to pay him for his time and the ratchet strap but he declined saying he was glad he could help.”
